Diploma collection – Duperré’s School - 2013
To Built my collection, I inspired myself with a photography of a peasant who lived in 1920. I extracted the structural elements which were in her work clothing. I have geometrised the rough aspect, sculpted it, designed it and architecturally it in darks and sobers colors. I worked on volumes around three lines of research : pleats, layers and stripes. To contrast with the rough materials like boiled wool, silk muslin adds more lightness, movement and femininity. Then, plastic creates the architecture of my volumes and adds shine.
